A crisper take on an old shape
The St Martins wall lantern keeps its familiar boxy silhouette and stepped, chimney topped crown, but this version is cast in polished nickel rather than brass. The result reads cooler and sharper, closer to pewter or steel than to gold, and suits a house with grey stone, render or darker joinery.
Polished nickel and clear glass
Where the original St Martins pairs brass with frosted glass, this version swaps in clear panels on all four sides, so more of the fitting's own structure, the corner posts and stepped cap, is visible from outside, and the light spills a little more openly through the sides.
How It Works
A single E27 lamp holder sits inside the lantern, wired as a Class I fitting that needs an earthed supply. Fit a dimmable bulb and it will respond to a dimmer switch. The product photography shows a twin candle bulb display for illustration, but this lantern takes one E27 bulb, which is not included.

Being an exterior fitting, St Martins earns its place beside a front door, on a porch, or flanking a garage or side gate. The clean nickel finish tends to sit well against pale render, brick or anywhere you want the metalwork itself to be the detail rather than a warm glow of brass.
