Elstead Sola Single Pendant - Polished Nickel

Look twice at the shade on the Sola and you will catch the light catching itself. The glass has been mouth blown into a dense diamond pattern, so every facet throws its own small reflection back across the room.

The metalwork is finished in a bright polished nickel, cool and mirror smooth against the warmth of the bulb inside. A slim grey cable carries the fitting down from a simple round ceiling rose, keeping the whole design light and uncluttered.

How it works

One E27 bulb sits inside the glass, held on a nickel gallery that is part of the display rather than hidden away. Fit a dimmable LED and you can take the mood from a bright prep light down to a low glow for evening.

Where it works best

Hung low over an island or a run of dining chairs, the Sola earns its keep as a single strong pendant rather than one of a cluster. It suits kitchens and dining rooms with a contemporary or monochrome palette, where the nickel and clear glass can stand out rather than compete.
