A lamp built to bend to the task

The Provence floor lamp borrows its shape from the drafting studios and reading rooms of France in the mid 1900s, a slim upright column, two hinged knuckle joints and a wide angled cone shade that swings and tilts wherever you point it. It's a lamp with a job to do, and it goes about it with a fair bit of character.

Finished in Old Bronze

This one is dressed in Old Bronze, a deep, almost blackened metal tone with a soft warmth that catches the light along the curve of the shade and the knuckles of the arm. Built from mild steel throughout, it reads more industrial workshop than French salon, which is part of its appeal.

How It Works

Two adjustable joints let the arm fold down for close, focused light or extend out for something broader across a whole desk. The cone shade tilts independently at the head, so once you've found the angle you want it stays put until you decide otherwise. A weighted round base keeps the whole thing steady even at full stretch, and it takes a single E27 LED bulb, not included, so you can choose your own brightness and colour temperature.
