The Pinner table lamp is built around a ceramic base shaped rather like a slow spinning top, a narrow neck that flares out to a wide, stable foot. It is a shape that holds its own on a shelf even before the lamp is switched on, and just as easy to look at once it is lit.

Subtle Pink and Matt Cream

This base carries a soft, reactive glaze, a wash of subtle pink over a matt cream ground. Reactive glazes behave a little differently from one firing to the next, so no two bases come out quite identical, expect gentle, natural variation in tone rather than one flat colour. A cream faux silk cylinder shade sits on top, finished with a polished nickel finial for a neat detail where the two meet.

How It Works

A single E27 bulb sits inside the drum shade, giving a warm, even glow that is easy on the eyes at bedtime or in the evening. An inline switch on the cable means it can be turned on and off without reaching around the base. The lamp may need a little simple assembly on arrival, done deliberately so it reaches you in perfect condition rather than pre built and packed loose.

Where It Works Best

Its size and shape make it a natural fit for a bedside table, but it works just as well as a console lamp in a hallway, on a sideboard in the dining room, or as a considered accent on a living room side table, somewhere it can sit at eye level and be appreciated for its shape as much as its light.
