A warmer alternative to plain black

This finish has an aged, burnished look, more antique gold than flat black, with a warm bronze undertone that catches the light rather than absorbing it. It suits a room where the metalwork already leans toward brass, bronze or aged gold rather than cool black or chrome.

Angling the light

A single E14 lamp holder sits on a short curved arm, held at your chosen angle by a thumbscrew, so the light falls on the picture below rather than up the wall.

Above a smaller framed print or mirror in a living room or hallway, or paired along a run of prints where a warm antique tone suits the frames better than a colder finish would.

The smaller of two sizes

This is the compact, single lamp version of Elstead's picture light, built for artwork that does not need the full length two lamp fitting; the mechanism and proportions are the same, just scaled down.
