A softer kind of spotlight

Rather than throwing a flat wash of light across the wall, this picture light aims a warm, focused glow straight onto the artwork below it. The brushed brass finish has a soft, satin warmth rather than a shine, so it reads as understated hardware rather than another shiny fixture competing with the frame.

Built to angle exactly where you need it

A curved swan neck arm carries the shade out from a square wall plate, with a knurled thumbscrew that lets you tilt the two lamp holders up or down until the beam sits where you want it. The shade itself runs the length of a large canvas or oversized mirror rather than a single centred point of light.

Where it earns its place

Above a fireplace, along a stairwell of framed prints, over a console table, or in a study lined with bookshelves; anywhere a picture, mirror or map deserves to be seen properly after dark rather than left in the shadow of a ceiling light.

This is the larger of two picture light sizes Elstead makes, and brushed brass is one of several finishes offered across the range, so if you are lighting more than one piece of art you can keep the hardware consistent from room to room.
