Elstead Parish Mini Single Pedestal Lantern - Black

A lantern that stands on its own

Rather than hanging or mounting to a wall, the Parish Mini pedestal lantern stands on its own tapered plinth, so it works like a miniature lamp post for a low wall, gate pier or planter edge. The glazed lantern head sits on top of the pedestal, with the same hexagonal shape as the rest of the Parish range.

Finish

It is finished in black, with clear glass panels set into the die cast aluminium frame so the bulb inside is on full display. The pedestal base has the same crisp, slightly textured coating as the lantern head, so the two halves read as one piece rather than a light bolted onto a plinth.

How it works

Fitted with a single E27 lamp holder and Class I wiring, it carries an IP44 rating for genuine outdoor use. The base is designed to be fixed down flat, at 45cm tall and 18cm across, so it needs a firm surface such as a wall cap, pier top or paved area rather than open soil.

Where it works best

Its self supporting base makes it a natural choice for gateposts, low garden walls or either side of a driveway entrance, anywhere you want a light at low level without running a wall bracket or a hanging chain.
