A tall marker for a path or drive

The Paignton bollard doubles the height of its smaller sibling, standing 700mm on a single stainless steel column so it can be spaced out along a driveway or a longer stretch of path rather than needing to cluster together for coverage. A crossed arch cage sits at the top, holding a frosted glass diffuser that softens the bulb into an even glow.

Marine grade stainless steel

The body is 316 stainless steel, the marine grade used where salt air would otherwise mark a softer metal, so it holds its brushed finish in coastal or exposed spots as readily as an inland garden. The diffuser above it is frosted glass, set inside the arched cage that gives the light its distinctive top.

How it works

One E27 lamp holder sits inside the cage, wired for mains use on Class I electrics, and we always recommend a qualified electrician installs it given it's a hardwired outdoor fitting. Choose a dimmable bulb if you'd like to bring the output down for a softer glow.

Where it works best

At 700mm tall, it's built to work at driveway height rather than tucked low against a path edge, so it suits spacing out along a drive, a longer run of garden path, or either side of a gate where its height lets it light the ground on its own. An IP55 rating means it's built to handle rain and exposure as an outdoor fitting.
