The lantern that sits flat to the wall

Unlike the bracket mounted versions in the Norfolk family, this Large Half Lantern is designed to sit flush against the wall itself, with a flat back and a domed cap topped by a small finial ball. It gives you the full lantern look, the glass and the ironwork detailing, without anything projecting out on an arm.

Black with diamond leaded glass

The body is cast in matte black and glazed on its three visible faces with clear leaded glass in the familiar Norfolk diamond pattern, five separate pieces per side, so the light that comes through has that slightly broken, traditional quality rather than a plain flat glow.

How It Works

It houses a single E27 lamp holder, so you can fit the bulb of your choice and dim it with dimmable LEDs and a compatible switch. As Class I equipment it needs to be properly earthed when wired in, standard practice for any permanent outdoor fitting.

Where It Works Best

Because it sits flat rather than projecting on a bracket, it suits narrower spots, porches, gateposts or walls close to a path, where a wall lantern with an arm would stick out too far. It carries an IP43 rating for life in a sheltered outdoor position.
