A classic lantern on a scrolled bracket
The Norfolk Single Down Wall Lantern hangs from a decorative scroll arm, with the lantern itself tipped downward so the light spills toward the ground rather than out across the wall. It is a familiar shape, the sort of fitting you would expect either side of a front door or along a boundary wall.
Black with diamond leaded glass
The cast bracket and lantern body are both finished in matte black, and each glass panel is leaded in the same diamond pattern used across the Norfolk range, five pieces of glass per side, giving the light a slightly broken, old fashioned glow rather than a flat modern beam.
How it works
A single E27 lamp holder sits inside, so you choose the bulb and can dim it if you fit a dimmable LED with a suitable switch. Being Class I, it needs to be properly earthed as part of installation, standard for a permanent outdoor wall light.
Where it works best
Its compact, downward facing design makes it well suited to porches, entrances and pathways where you want a pool of light at ground level rather than a wide spread, and its IP43 rating covers it for life in a sheltered outdoor spot.
