Elstead Mansion House Single Wall Lantern - Aged Brass

A pre-Georgian lantern for a period front door

This smaller Mansion House lantern keeps the domed roof and pierced brass frieze of its larger sibling but scales it down to a single bulb, so it suits porches and doorways where the bigger version would overpower the space.

Finished in Aged Brass

The finish is an aged brass that's then lacquered to hold its colour, a warm honeyed tone that will deepen slightly with age rather than a mirror bright shine.

How it works

A single E27 bulb sits behind the glass panels, which wrap around all four sides of the lantern; use a dimmable bulb if you want the option of turning the light down of an evening.

Where it works best

At 37.5cm tall it's a good match for a standard front door, a side porch, or a run of coastal or period style wall lights.
