A statement for a low ceiling

Where the rest of the Louvre range hangs or projects, this flush fitting sits tight to the ceiling, making it the option for rooms where headroom is tight but you still want that same layered, glass slatted look overhead. Four lamps sit inside a square steel box, visible through the open slats on every side.

Finish and glasswork

Painted gunmetal gives the steel frame a brushed, slightly weathered look, somewhere between silver and charcoal, and the clear glass louvres running around all four faces catch and scatter light rather than shading it.

How it works

Four E27 lamp holders are mounted back to back inside the fitting, so from below you get four distinct points of light through the glass slats. It takes any E27 bulb, filament styles look particularly at home here, and it can be dimmed provided the bulbs fitted are dimmable.

Where it works best

Its low profile makes it a natural choice for hallways, landings and kitchens with standard ceiling heights, or anywhere a pendant would hang too low. The square shape also suits centring over an island or a square dining table.
