The lantern look without the overhang

Kinsale's flush lantern takes the same six sided silhouette as the rest of the range and folds it flat against the wall, so there is no arm reaching out and nothing to catch on a low porch roof or a narrow passage. You still get the pitched cap, the bevelled glass and the pointed drop finial, just mounted close to the brick rather than hung out from it.

Black is the only finish here, in the same polymer and polycarbonate build used across the Kinsale range rather than metal and glass, so it is unbothered by rain running down the wall behind it.

How it works

One E27 lamp holder is fitted inside, on Class II wiring with no earth needed. Because the lantern sits flat, the light throws forward and down rather than out to the sides, which suits a doorway or a tight side passage better than an open driveway.

Where it works best

Reach for this one where space is at a premium, an alleyway, a narrow porch, under an overhanging eave, or anywhere a projecting bracket lantern would stick out too far. It is equally happy taking the weather on an exposed coastal wall.
