The Hyde Park lantern takes its shape from the coach lamps that once lit London's grander streets: a peaked roof, a glazed box with slim glazing bars, and a ring finial on top that nods to where it would once have been carried. It's a small, honest piece of period design rather than a pastiche of one.
A warm, aged brass
The whole fitting is solid brass rather than a plated substitute, finished with a warm antique tone that already reads as settled and lived in straight out of the box, so it won't look raw and shiny against older brickwork or stonework. A lacquer coat keeps that tone consistent rather than left to weather on its own.
How it works
One E27 lamp sits centrally behind the glazing, held on a Class I fitting, so the light spills out through all four panes rather than firing in one direction. Choose a dimmable lamp and it will dim; choose a warm filament style bulb and you get something close to the candlelit look in the photos.

It's a single, self contained wall lantern rather than part of a matched pair, so it suits a front door, a side passage, or a single spot along a garden wall where you want a period touch rather than symmetry.
