A cooler finish on a classic lantern shape

Most of the Holborn range leans toward brass and bronze, but this single light half lantern comes in polished chrome instead. It keeps the same glazed box and vented crown as the rest of the range, flattened along the back so it sits close and flush against a wall, in a bright silver finish rather than a warm metal one.

The solid brass frame is plated to a mirror bright chrome, giving the lantern a crisper, more reflective edge than its brushed brass or dark bronze siblings while keeping the same traditional silhouette. Every seam and louvre on the crown catches the light rather than absorbing it.

How It Works

A single E14 LED bulb sits on a chrome candle tube behind clear glass, left fully visible through the glazing on three sides. The fitting is wired to Class I and will work with a dimmer switch as long as you fit a dimmable bulb. Being a half lantern, it is flat backed for wall mounting rather than fully boxed in, so it projects less than a full lantern of the same height.

Where It Works Best

IP44 rated for sheltered spots such as a porch, either side of a front door, or flanking a garage. The cooler polished chrome tone suits coastal or more contemporary brickwork better than the warmer brass and bronze finishes elsewhere in the range.
