Elstead Holborn Single Small Half Lantern - Dark Bronze

A small lantern with a lot of period detail

Half the width of the two light Holborn but built from the same drawing, this single light version keeps the vented crown, glazed box and turned brass feet in miniature.

Dark bronze

Finished in a dark bronze that reads more pewter than black, with lighter brass tones breaking through at the edges and mouldings rather than a uniform matte coat.

How it works

One E14 candle bulb sits behind clear glass, exposed rather than diffused, so you get a warm pinpoint of light rather than a wash. Class I electrics, dimmable if you fit a dimmable bulb.

Where it works best

IP44 rated, this one is built for a porch, an entrance, or either side of a garage door, somewhere with a bit of cover rather than fully open to the weather. The compact size works well where wall space either side of a door is limited.
