The Holborn is cut down the middle, mounted flat side against the wall rather than hanging free, so it throws its glow forward and to the sides without taking up depth on a porch or in a doorway. Slatted vents run along the top and clear glass panels wrap the sides, giving a clear view of the two candle bulbs inside.

Dark Bronze finish

This Dark Bronze finish is a muted, almost blackened bronze rather than a bright metal tone, closer in feel to old ironwork than polished brass. It sits quietly against brick, render or stone, and reads as a shadow on the wall by day, letting the lit glass do the work after dark.

How It Works

Two E14 lamp holders sit inside the lantern, so light spreads out through the glass on three sides rather than beaming from a single point. Both bulbs are visible through the clear glass, candle shaped rather than hidden behind frosted panels. Fit dimmable E14 LED bulbs and the lantern will dim on a compatible switch; bulbs are not included. The Holborn wires directly into the wall rather than plugging in, so we recommend a qualified electrician handles the installation and makes sure the outdoor wiring is properly weatherproofed.
