A fixed drop for a tidy ceiling fitting

Rather than hanging from a chain, this Hereford lantern drops from a short, rigid stem fixed straight to a ceiling plate, which keeps it neat and steady under a porch roof.

Finish

Black die cast aluminium scrollwork wraps around a clear glass cylinder, in keeping with the rest of the Hereford range.

How it works

A single E27 lamp holder sits inside the glass, and the fitting will dim if paired with a dimmable bulb. Because the drop is fixed rather than adjustable, it suits porches where you already know the ceiling height you are working with.

Where it works best

Covered porches, canopies and recessed entrances where a compact, ceiling mounted lantern makes more sense than a wall bracket.
