Elstead Helsingor Single PIR Wall Lantern - Black

A wall lantern that switches itself on

This Helsingor wall light carries the same tiered, Danish styled canopy and clear glass cylinder as the rest of the range, but it is built for security as well as looks. A passive infrared sensor sits low on the black backplate, so the light comes on by itself when someone walks into range.

Black powder coated finish

Made from 304 grade stainless steel with a black powder coat over the top, it is finished to cope with being mounted outside in all weathers, on an arm that projects the lantern head clear of the wall.

How it works

Fit a single E27 bulb, not supplied, and the built in PIR sensor takes care of switching it on when it detects movement nearby. Dimmable bulbs will dim as expected, and the fitting carries a Class I electrical rating.

Where it works best

By a side gate, above a back door, or anywhere you want light to appear automatically rather than relying on someone flicking a switch in the dark.

Good to know about the sensor

The PIR sensor is covered by its own two year guarantee against fault, on top of the fifteen year warranty on the fitting itself.
