The Grampian wall lantern takes the hexagonal lamp head from the wider Grampian range and mounts it on a scrolled wall bracket rather than a post, complete with a cast finial and roof brackets that carry the same Victorian character as the rest of the collection. The lantern head sits at a slight angle at the end of the arm, a detail that comes from genuine gas lamp design rather than a decorative afterthought.

Every part of the fitting, from the wall plate to the lantern roof, is cast aluminium finished in a flat black. The glass panels are left clear rather than tinted or textured, so the lamp inside stays fully visible and throws light in every direction rather than just downward. A small door set into the head allows access for wiring once the lantern is mounted.

How It Works

A single E27 lamp sits on a central holder inside the lantern head, projecting 49cm out from the wall and standing 82cm tall overall, so the light clears the wall rather than washing straight down the brickwork. The fitting will dim if used with a dimmable bulb, though the bulb itself is not supplied.

Where It Works Best

It suits either side of a front door, flanking a garage or outbuilding, or lighting a side passage where a full lamp post would not fit. The scrolled bracket and cast detailing read best against plain render or brick, where the pattern stays visible rather than getting lost against heavily textured stone.
