A pierced crown around a softened glow
Crown takes its name from the fretwork band that runs around its rim, a row of pierced hearts and scrollwork that reads like the edge of a coronet. In this semi flush and pendant version, that band wraps around a plain frosted glass diffuser rather than open candle arms, so the light spreads evenly through the glass instead of showing three bare bulbs.
Iron Gate finish
This version is finished in Iron Gate, a warm charcoal grey with a hand applied water droplet texture that breaks the surface into a mottled, slightly weathered pattern rather than a flat paint. It reads closer to aged pewter than steel, and it sets the pierced heart band and the pale frosted glass beneath it apart from the plainer finishes in the range.
How it works
Three E27 lamp holders sit inside the frosted glass bowl, so the fitting reads as one soft glowing drum rather than three separate points of light. It hangs from three slim rods and a central chain that adjusts from around 53cm up to just over two metres, letting it sit almost flush to the ceiling or drop lower as a proper pendant.
Where it works best
Because the drop adjusts between a near ceiling semi flush and a lower pendant, Crown works well centred over a kitchen island or dining table, where the frosted glass spreads light evenly across a work surface or table setting rather than casting it in one direction. Shortened right up, it also suits a kitchen with a lower ceiling where a full pendant would sit too low.

Can Crown be fitted as a semi flush or hung lower as a pendant? Both. The chain is adjustable from around 53cm up to just over two metres, so it can sit close to the ceiling as a semi flush fitting or drop lower as a pendant over a table.
Are bulbs included with this light? No. It takes three E27 bulbs, which are not supplied, so you can choose the colour temperature and brightness that suits the room.
Is the Crown semi flush/pendant dimmable? Yes, as long as you fit dimmable E27 bulbs and use a compatible dimmer switch. Non dimmable bulbs will not dim, even on a dimmer circuit.
Will the frosted glass show the individual bulbs inside? No. The diffuser spreads the light evenly across its surface, so the fitting glows as one soft drum rather than showing three separate bulb shapes.
