The Cleveland look, sized for a smaller porch

The Cleveland Single Small Down Wall Lantern is the compact version of the range's coach lamp style wall light, hanging below a scrolled bracket rather than mounting flush to the wall. It carries the same curved silhouette and finial detailing as its larger sibling, just scaled down to suit a narrower porch or a smaller front door.

Cast in aluminium and finished in weathered bronze, it has a warm, aged tone rather than a flat black, and the glass is clear and seeded, with the slightly uneven, bubbled texture that gives the light some character after dark rather than a plain glow.

How it works

One lamp sits inside the lantern, casting light down through the seeded glass and out to the sides, so it lights the wall and doorstep beneath it rather than shining straight ahead. Hung below the arm, the lantern spreads its light a little more generously than a flush fitting would.

Where it works best

A good fit for a compact porch, a cottage front door, either side of a narrower entrance, or anywhere the scale of the medium lantern would feel a size too big. Weathered bronze suits brick, stone and painted render without fighting any of them.
