Polished brass gives the Chawton picture light a mirror bright shine, a sharper look than the aged or brushed finishes and one that catches the light itself as much as it throws it onto the canvas below.

High polish brass finish

The faceted bar, arms and wall plate are all finished in the same bright polish, so from a distance it reads as one continuous gleam of brass rather than separate parts.

How it works

Two adjustable knuckle joints on the arms mean the angle is not fixed once the light is mounted; tilt it down onto the picture or pull it back closer to the wall as needed.

Where it works best

Suits a large canvas, an ornate mirror or a formal gallery arrangement in a living room, dining room, hallway or study, particularly where other brass hardware, like door furniture or curtain poles, is already in the room.
