Two lantern heads, one striking post

The Chapel Twin Post takes the coach lantern shape from the rest of Elstead's Chapel range and mounts two of them on a single fluted column, so a driveway or front path gets a wider, more even spread of light than a single headed post gives. The two arms curve outward as mirror images of one another, each ending in its own hexagonal head, with a slender finial rising from the point where they meet.

Black die cast aluminium, glazed panels

Both the column and the lantern heads are cast in die cast aluminium and finished in black, with clear glazed panels enclosing each bulb so the light reads clearly rather than through frosted or tinted glass. The base is fluted from top to bottom, giving the post some visual weight where it meets the ground, and every join is fixed with visible screws rather than hidden clips, in keeping with the range's traditional coach lantern detailing.

How It Works

Each of the two heads holds its own E27 bulb, so two bulbs are needed to light the whole fitting; neither is included. Fit dimmable bulbs in both heads and the post will dim on a compatible switch. It's wired to Class I standards, which means it needs to be properly earthed, so we'd always recommend a qualified electrician handles the installation and wiring back to your supply.
