Elstead Chapel Mini Single Pedestal Lantern - Black

A short pillar lantern for path or gate

Set on its own plinth rather than a wall or chain, this pedestal lantern stands at ground level with the same squared, glass sided lantern head as the rest of the Chapel Mini range on top. Cast in matte black aluminium with clear glass panes.

How it works

A single E27 bulb sits inside the lantern head, at a height where it lights the ground around it rather than shining down from above. Because it's a standalone pedestal there's no chain or bracket involved, just a base to fix in place, and it can be run on a dimmer with a dimmable bulb.

Where it works best

At 44cm tall it works well marking a path edge, gate post or the corner of a driveway, somewhere low level light is more useful than something mounted higher up a wall.

It sits alongside the wall and pillar lanterns in the Chapel Mini collection, so several can be used together to mark out a run of path or a pair of gate posts with a consistent look.
