The smaller Chapel lantern, on the same black chain
This is the compact version of the Chapel chain lantern, built to the same squared, gently pitched profile but sized for spots where the full size fitting would be too much. Cast aluminium in matte black, with clear glass panels around a single lamp.
How it works
An E27 lamp fits inside the housing, and the clear glass means it reads clearly from the street rather than being tucked away. The chain adjusts between 49.5cm and 96.5cm, so you can set the drop to suit the space, and it will run on a dimmer if you fit a dimmable bulb.
Where it works best
At 34.5cm high and 17cm across, it suits a smaller porch, side entrance or covered doorway where a full size lantern would overwhelm the space but a wall light wouldn't give you the same presence.
It belongs to the same Chapel Mini family as the wall, pillar and pedestal lanterns in this collection, so it's straightforward to match up if you're lighting more than one point around a door.
