A soft wash of light from a half moon shade
A frosted glass half bowl sits inside a black cage frame decorated with a garland of swags and small flower studs, so the light spreads upward in a gentle glow while the ironwork casts its own pattern over the wall above. It reads far more detailed close up than the simple half moon shape suggests from across a room.
How it works
The glass shade is held within the frame by three cross bars, each finished in the same black coating as the swags and flowers running around the rim. A single bulb sits inside, so light is thrown mostly upward and softened by the frosted glass rather than shining directly outward.
Where it works best
