The Carisbrooke chandelier, filled out to five arms
Five candle style arms branch out from a single black column, each traced underneath with the same wire drape detail that runs through the whole Carisbrooke collection. It gives a fuller spread of light than the three arm version while staying a manageable size for most ceilings.
Finish
Black mild steel throughout, with ivory candle tube covers on all five holders, so the light sits inside a softer white base rather than directly against the dark metal. The looped wire detail beneath the arms is finished in the same black, keeping the whole fitting reading as one material rather than mixed metals.
How it works
Five E14 fittings sit at the ends of the five arms, hung from a single column on a chain and ceiling canopy. The fitting uses a flush convert kit, so it can hang on its full chain drop or be shortened right down to sit close to the ceiling as a semi flush light, with the drop adjustable from around 47cm up to 110.5cm. Bulbs are not included, so choose five E14 candle bulbs to suit, dimmable ones if you want it to work on a dimmer switch.
Where it works best
At 47cm across, the five light Carisbrooke fills more of a room than the three arm version without needing the ceiling height a six, twelve or eighteen light piece calls for. It suits a dining table, a living room with reasonable ceiling height, or a generous hallway or stairwell where the wire drape detail can be seen from below as well as at eye level.

Elstead is a British decorative lighting group and distributor, still led by the Lucas family, with roots that trace back to The Elstead Forge in Alton, Hampshire. The five light Carisbrooke sits between the smaller three arm chandelier and the larger six, twelve and eighteen light versions in the same range, all sharing the same Gothic candelabra shape and wire drape detailing, so they can be mixed across a house or scaled up for a bigger room.

Can the Carisbrooke 5 Light Chandelier be converted to a semi flush light? Yes. It uses a flush convert fitting, so the drop can be shortened right down for a lower ceiling, or extended out to its full 110.5cm for a higher one.
Are bulbs included with this chandelier? No. It takes five E14 candle bulbs, which aren't supplied, so you can choose the wattage and warmth of light that suits the room.
Is the Carisbrooke 5 Light Chandelier dimmable? Yes, as long as you fit dimmable E14 bulbs and use it on a dimmer switch circuit. Standard bulbs won't dim, even on a dimmer circuit.
