The full sweep of Carisbrooke, at its grandest
Eighteen arms fan out in cascading rows beneath a tall black column, each one edged with the same hand bound wire drapes that give this range its candelabra character. It is the biggest statement in the collection, built for a room that can genuinely take it.
Finish
Black mild steel runs through the whole piece, chain included, with ivory candle tubes topping each of the eighteen arms so the light itself stands out against the dark ironwork rather than disappearing into it.
How it works
The eighteen E14 fittings are staggered across tiers of differing heights, so the arms overlap and layer rather than sitting in one flat ring. The chain drop adjusts from roughly 137cm up to 425cm, which means it can be hung properly in anything from a tall reception room to a barn conversion or double height hallway.
Where it works best
At 143cm across, this needs genuine ceiling height and floor space around it, a vaulted hall, a grand staircase, or a large open dining room where it can be the first thing people notice on walking in.
