Same elongated cage centre, same curling arms and twisted knot drop, but finished head to toe in matte black rather than brass. It reads as a much bolder shape against a pale ceiling, more sculpture than light fitting until the bulbs come on.

How it works

Three E14 bulbs sit in open candle style holders. The chain lets you set the drop anywhere from 50cm up to 94cm, and the fitting can be converted to hang almost flush against the ceiling if your room is on the low side.

Where it works best

Its dark ironwork suits rooms where the ceiling itself is a feature: a dining room with exposed beams, a hallway with real height, or a bedroom where you want the fitting to do the decorating. It's listed as suited to living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms and hallways generally.
