A chandelier with a cage at its heart

Three scrolled arms curve out from a slim, elongated cage of curved brass strips, a shape that catches light from every angle rather than hiding it behind a shade. A twisted knot finial hangs below, finishing the ironwork in the same hand formed style as the rest of the Artisan range.

The brass here is toned down rather than polished bright, giving it a lived in warmth that works with older properties as easily as new builds.

How it works

It's fitted for three E14 bulbs, left open in candle style holders, and hangs from an adjustable chain, so you can set the drop anywhere between 50cm and 94cm depending on your ceiling height. It can also be converted to sit close to the ceiling if you'd rather have a semi flush fit than a pendant on a long chain.

Where it works best

At 36cm across, it suits a dining table, a landing or a bedroom rather than a full height living room centrepiece, though it will do that job too in a smaller room. Living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms and hallways are all good fits.
