Some outdoor wall lights are just a plain lit disc behind a lens. The Ano 2W adds a set of slatted bars across the front, giving a simple circular fitting the look of a traditional lantern without any extra bulk or moving parts.

Graphite through and through

Cast aluminium, finished in a single graphite grey from the backplate to the slatted bars, so the cage reads as part of the fitting rather than something bolted on afterwards.

How It Works

A single 9W GX53 LED bulb (not included) sits behind the slats, and the fitting will dim if you fit a dimmable GX53 lamp. It's designed to take a wall or ceiling fixing, so the same light works as a porch wall light or a small ceiling mounted bulkhead.

This is an outdoor wall light for porches, garden walls, steps and passageways, anywhere you want the fitting itself to look considered rather than purely functional. Rated IP54, it's built to cope with rain and damp exterior conditions.

Can the Ano lantern be fitted to a ceiling as well as a wall? Yes. It's designed to take either a wall or a ceiling fixing, so it works equally well as a porch wall light or a small bulkhead style ceiling light.

What bulb does the Ano lantern take? A single 9W GX53 LED bulb, which is not included, so you'll need to fit one before use.

Is the Ano lantern dimmable? Yes, as long as you fit a dimmable GX53 bulb. A non dimmable bulb won't respond to a dimmer switch even on a dimmable circuit.

Is the Ano lantern suitable for outdoor use? Yes. It's rated IP54, so it's built to cope with rain and damp conditions in an exterior spot such as a porch, garden wall or set of steps.
