A lamp that holds its own switched off
A table lamp for a bedside table or console has two jobs: throw a decent pool of light, and still look worth having around when it is off. The Amarilli manages both, pairing a wide ivory shade with a base detailed in gilded leaves and hanging glass drops that catch whatever light is already in the room.
Bronze with gold patina
The stem runs in a dark, almost black bronze, broken partway up by a gilded ball and a flared, brass toned foot where it meets the oval base. Just below the shade, a cluster of gold patina metal leaves fans outward, hung with clear cut glass drops that pick up any passing light even before the lamp is switched on.
How It Works
The Amarilli takes a single E27 bulb, not included, so the light output and warmth are down to whichever bulb you fit, and it will dim if you choose a dimmable one. Above the fitting, a tapered ivory drum shade in polycotton fabric spreads the light gently sideways rather than sending it sharply up or down.

At 72cm tall with a 43cm shade, it is built for a console table, sideboard or a generously sized bedside table rather than a small nightstand.
