Elstead Alton Single Small LED Picture Light - White

A white picture light has one advantage the metal finishes don't: it can disappear against a painted wall almost entirely, leaving just the glow it casts. That makes the Alton in white an easy fitting to add without it becoming a visual feature on its own.

Gloss white

Finished in a crisp gloss white rather than a metallic tone, this version sits flush against pale walls and works particularly well where the wall colour is white or a similar light neutral. The familiar Alton shape carries through: a round wall plate, a curved arm, and a slim light bar.

How it lights a picture

An integrated 6W LED runs the length of the bar, giving 318 lumens of warm 3000K light directed down onto the frame beneath it. It's fixed brightness rather than dimmable.

Where it works best

Living rooms, dining rooms, hallways and studies are the natural home for this kind of fitting, mounted above a single canvas or run along a wall of smaller framed pieces.
