A wirework cage crowned in Aged Brass
The Aegean 8 Light Chandelier doubles up on the five light version, splitting the arms into two tiers of four around a wirework cage top and a twisted column at its centre. It's a genuinely large fitting, which is why it tends to suit taller hallways, stairwells and dining rooms rather than an average sized room.
Aged Brass finish
The frame is finished in Aged Brass, a warm, slightly weathered tone with visible brushing across the metal rather than a mirror shine. Faceted glass sconces sit beneath each of the eight candle holders, and a pair of clear crystal teardrops hang from decorative loops at the centre of the fitting, catching whatever light is already in the room.
How It Works
Eight E14 candle style lamp holders are spread across the two tiers of arms, so even at a distance the chandelier reads as a cluster of small lights rather than one bright source. The chain allows the drop to be adjusted from 55cm up to 181cm at installation, giving plenty of scope for a genuinely tall ceiling, and swapping in dimmable bulbs means the whole thing can be turned down for evenings. This is a hardwired Class I ceiling fitting, so we always recommend a qualified electrician installs it.
