A birdcage silhouette with real weight
The Aegean five light chandelier is built around a tall wirework cage that tapers into a twisted brass finial, with five scrolled arms curling out below to carry the candle style lights. Cut glass sconces sit beneath each arm, and hand forged scrollwork runs through the whole design, giving it something to look at even before the bulbs go in.
Finish
This one comes in Aged Brass, a warm, brushed tone with visible texture across the metal rather than a flat polished shine. It has a settled, slightly worn character that suits older or more traditional interiors particularly well.
How it works
Five E14 fittings sit exposed on the arms, so the chandelier throws light from several points rather than one central source. The chain lets you set the drop anywhere between 50cm and 97.5cm, worth checking against your ceiling height before ordering, and dimmable bulbs will let you dial the mood up or down.
Where it works best
Its 48cm spread makes it a natural fit above a dining table or in a hallway with a bit of height, though it works just as well as a statement piece in a living room or bedroom.
