The Aegean wall light takes a traditional shape, looped scrolling arms, a twisted brass finial, faceted crystal drip pans, and finishes it in a bright polished brass rather than the softer aged tones of its siblings. Two candle style arms flank a turned backplate, with a single crystal teardrop hanging from each side of the scrollwork.

Underneath the finish, Aegean is built from steel, plated in a high shine polished brass that reads more gold than antique. It gives the piece a crisper, more reflective character than a brushed or aged finish would, so every curl of the arms and every facet on the crystal drops catches the light.
How It Works
Each arm carries an E14 candle style bulb holder set into a faceted crystal drip pan, with a cut crystal teardrop hanging from the scrollwork just below. It's designed to fit directly to the wall, though an electrician can convert the wiring to a flush ceiling fitting if you'd rather hang it overhead. Fit dimmable E14 bulbs and the light responds to a dimmer switch.
Where It Works Best
The bright brass finish picks up ambient light and throws it back, so it reads at its best in a hallway, living room or dining room where it has something to reflect. It works in a bedroom too, provided the rest of the scheme leans traditional rather than pared back and minimal.
Elstead Lighting
Aegean comes from Elstead Lighting, a British lighting group whose name traces back to The Elstead Forge in Alton, Hampshire, and which remains led by the Lucas family today. The same shape is also available in aged brass and polished nickel, and pairs with the three light Aegean chandelier for a coordinated scheme across a hallway or dining room.

What bulbs does the Aegean 2 light wall light take? It takes two E14 candle bulbs, and we recommend an LED version. Bulbs are not included.
Is the Aegean wall light dimmable? Yes, as long as you fit dimmable E14 bulbs in both holders. Non dimmable bulbs won't respond to a dimmer switch even on a compatible circuit.
Can this wall light be fitted to the ceiling instead? It's designed to fit directly to the wall, but a qualified electrician can convert the wiring to a flush ceiling fitting if that suits your space better.
