The largest of the black Contessa shades, the Diyas ILS20244 Contessa square shade makes a proper statement on a generous lamp base. Measuring 19cm across the top and 35.5cm across the bottom, its tapered square form has real presence, anchoring a room with strong, clean lines and a rich, low key glow once the lamp is switched on.

Fabric lining sets the Contessa apart from thinner shades, giving a smooth interior finish and a beautifully diffused light that spills warmly from the top and base rather than through the sides.

Supplied as a shade only with a reducer ring for standard and 22mm lamp holders, it suits large table lamps and standard lamps in living rooms, dining rooms and hallways. In black it lends a smart, hotel inspired mood that works especially well with metallic or glass bases.
