Three faceted drops strung along a single line turn the Diyas IL30583 Amano pendant into something closer to jewellery than lighting. Each drop sits inside a shaped stainless steel sleeve, so polished chrome and cut glass trade reflections back and forth whenever the lamps are lit.

Amano comes in a bright polished chrome, chosen to intensify the sparkle of the three drops rather than compete with it. Where the scheme calls for a different metal tone, it is worth looking at other finishes across the range before deciding, as the metal frame changes how much light each drop throws back.

How It Works

Three G9 LED bulbs run the Amano, each rated to a maximum of 33w, and bulbs are extra and not included so you can match the exact colour temperature you want. There is no integrated LED module built in, and each pendant comes with 1.5m of cable, giving a workable drop of anywhere between 23cm and 173cm.

Where It Works Best

As a linear three light pendant it is built for long runs, above a kitchen island, along a dining table or over a breakfast bar. It carries an IP20 rating, so it is intended for dry indoor spaces rather than bathrooms.
