This nine light pendant is the stripped back version of the Deacon Twisted design, made up of nine looping metal arms finished in a deep satin black. With no glass fitted, the woven, rope like twist of each arm is the whole show, giving the fitting a sculptural, almost architectural look whether you leave the bulbs bare or dress it with your own shades.

Choosing Your Finish

The satin black here is a true matte, so it absorbs light rather than reflecting it, which lets the twisted shape of the metal do the talking. This frame only design also comes in a satin gold finish, and the same silhouette is available fitted with various glass shades elsewhere in the range, so there is room to match it to your scheme even if this exact black frame version is the one that suits you.

How It Works

Nine G9 lamp holders are built into the frame, each rated up to 10W maximum, with bulbs sold separately. It is dimmable, though you will need to fit dimmable G9 lamps for that to work properly. Wiring is to Class I standard, so it needs a proper earth connection when installed. With an IP20 rating, it has no protection against moisture at all, so it is only suited to dry indoor rooms rather than anywhere near water.

Being open framed and quite sculptural, it reads well as a centrepiece above a dining table, as a large scale feature in a living room, or as something a bit different hung in a bedroom. Since the IP20 rating rules out any splash or moisture exposure, keep it well away from bathrooms and other damp areas.
