This version of the Deacon Twisted Pendant is finished in cool satin nickel and supplied as the frame only, so its twelve twisting arms are left completely bare with no shades to soften them. It has a striking, almost architectural quality on its own, or gives you a blank canvas to add your own glass or shades to suit your taste.

Choosing Your Finish

Satin nickel gives this frame a silvery, brushed look, cooler and slightly more contemporary than the warmer gold version of the same design. If you'd prefer that warmer tone instead, the identical twisted frame is also made in satin gold, so there's a choice depending on the metals already in your room.

How It Works

Twelve G9 lamp holders run across the arms, each taking a bulb rated up to 10W, with bulbs sold separately. Dimmable lamps are required to dim this fitting, so check your bulbs are compatible if you want that flexibility. It's wired to Class I standards, needing an earth connection, and carries an IP20 rating, meaning it's built for dry indoor rooms only rather than bathrooms or anywhere damp.

Without any glass to soften it, the construction is more exposed, so the joints and curves of the frame have to be right, which this piece delivers. It also leaves you free to add your own shades if you'd rather not use one of the glass versions from the same range.
