Each of the nine arms carries a G9 lamp holder, with bulbs rated up to 10W, not included. It can be dimmed provided you use suitable dimmable lamps together with a compatible dimmer. The fitting is wired to Class I standards, requiring an earth connection during installation. Its IP20 rating means it's designed for dry indoor rooms only, not bathrooms or areas exposed to moisture.
