Will the iridescent finish fade or cloud over time?
The plating is durable and designed to last. Dust can gather on the glass, but a gentle wipe with a soft cloth restores its appearance. Normal household use will not affect the finish.
Is this pendant suitable for a kitchen with a lot of steam?
Being rated IP20, it is not suitable for areas with high moisture or steam, such as directly above a cooker. It works well on an island that is away from steam sources, or in a kitchen diner where moisture is not an issue.
