The Deacon floor lamp comes as a frame only in satin black, ready for you to add a shade of your choosing. It holds three G9 bulbs, so it is capable of lighting a decent corner of a room rather than just a small pool of light. The satin black finish is understated and matte, making it easy to place in most existing colour schemes.
For indoor use, it works well beside a sofa, an armchair, or in a reading corner of a bedroom or living room where you want a taller freestanding light. Because the shade is not included, you can pick one in the size and shape that best suits the height of the frame and the room it goes in.
