A perfect ring of light
Jasmine strips lighting design back to its simplest geometry: a slim, unbroken circle finished in gold leaf, suspended from four fine cables that meet at a round ceiling canopy. Rather than housing a bulb behind glass or fabric, the ring itself carries an integrated LED strip along its inner face, so the light source becomes part of the silhouette rather than something hidden inside it. At 28 inches across, it reads as a single, confident halo overhead.
Gold leaf finish
The gold leaf finish is warm and slightly burnished rather than polished to a mirror shine, so it catches ambient light softly instead of throwing hard reflections. It sits comfortably alongside brass, bronze or aged metal hardware elsewhere in a room, and reads as understated rather than showy, letting the clean circular shape do most of the work.
How it works
Jasmine is fitted with a single integrated LED light source rated at 60W, producing a warm 2700K glow with a CRI of 90 for accurate colour rendering. The ring itself measures approximately 28 inches (71cm) in diameter, hung from a round canopy around 5.5 inches (14cm) across on adjustable cable, so the final drop height can be set to suit the room during installation.
Where it works best
Its scale and perfectly level circle make it a natural fit above a kitchen island or dining table, where the ring can hang parallel to the surface below. It also works well centred in an entrance hall or stairwell with enough height to let the cables show, giving a single sculptural focal point rather than competing with other fittings nearby.
About Corbett
Corbett Lighting has spent more than 40 years turning light fittings into something closer to sculpture, building a name for bold pieces that the brand itself describes as sophisticated, chic and closer to fine jewellery than traditional lighting. It belongs to Hudson Valley Lighting Group alongside Mitzi and Troy Lighting, a business that traces back to Brooklyn inventor William Littman, who patented early fluorescent lighting ideas after seeing them showcased at the 1939 New York World's Fair. Decades later, his grandson David Littman built on that foundation to establish Hudson Valley Lighting Group in the 1980s, and Corbett's collections still carry that original appetite for bold, sophisticated design.
