The FL05 steps up from Collingwood's smaller FL01, FL02 and FL03 floodlights, built for driveways, courtyards and the side of a building where a wider spread of light is needed. It's colour switchable, so you're not locked into one colour temperature once it's fitted, and it runs at a full 50W for a stronger throw of light over a larger area.

Black Cast Aluminium, Built to Take Weather and Knocks

This version comes in a black painted cast aluminium housing, weighing 1.2kg and measuring 320mm high, 180mm long and 50mm deep. It's rated IP65 for protection against water and IK07 for impact resistance, so it's built to stay outside in all weather without extra cover.

How It Works

The FL05 runs straight to the mains with an integral driver, so there's no separate driver box to plan for or hide anywhere. It throws light across a wide 120 degree beam, and the fitting adjusts through 180 degrees of tilt and 360 degrees of rotation on its detachable bracket, so you can angle it where it's needed without extra tools. It's colour switchable between 3000K warm white, 4000K cool white and 6500K daylight, so you can choose the tone that suits the space rather than being tied to one fixed colour. It isn't dimmable, and wires in parallel if you're running more than one fitting from the same circuit.

Where It Works Best

With more output than the smaller FL01, FL02 and FL03, the FL05 suits driveways, courtyards, gardens and the side of a building where a single fitting needs to cover more ground. This version doesn't include a PIR motion sensor, so it's built for permanent lighting that stays on rather than switching on when it detects movement. A PIR equipped FL05 is available separately if triggered security lighting is what you're after.
