COF is Collingwood's dotless LED strip, built using a chip on flex design so the individual LED chips aren't visible as separate dots along the run, giving a smooth, continuous line of light rather than a beaded look. It runs at 8W per metre and this listing is a 5m reel at 2700K, with a self adhesive backing for a straightforward stick down installation. CRI is 90+, which is worth having in kitchens and living areas where accurate colour matters. The strip is IP20, so it's for dry indoor use, and it needs a 24V DC driver bought separately, sized to the total length of strip you're running.
It's a good fit for under cabinet lighting in kitchens, as well as coving, shelving and other architectural or decorative details where a clean, linear glow is the aim rather than a spotlight effect.
It carries a 3 year warranty and dimming is possible with a suitable dimmable driver, though this depends on which driver you pair it with.
