With twenty three lights arranged over five cascading tiers, this Cedar pendant makes quite an entrance. The matt black frame is paired here with smoked glass shades, which soften the glow of each bulb and give the whole fitting a slightly moody, atmospheric feel compared to clear glass versions.
Given its size and drop, it's best suited to a room with generous ceiling height, a hallway, stairwell, or open plan living space where it can hang without feeling cramped. The combination of matt black and smoked glass reads as understated rather than flashy, so it fits comfortably into darker, more contemporary schemes as well as classic ones.
