A Keyhole Cover With Real Weight
The classic keyhole shape, cast in solid spun metal rather than stamped from a thin blank. This pair sits flush against the door and holds its finish far longer than the standard builder's grade plate it is likely replacing.
Choose Your Finish
Steel gives a cool, minimal look, Brass warms the door face and picks up a natural patina over time, Smoked Bronze sits somewhere between the two, and Black works best when you want the escutcheon to blend into a darker door.
How It Works
Each plate has a 51mm diameter rose that push fits into place, projecting just 4mm from the door. It is fixed through bolt, with two through bolts included, and suits doors from 35mm to 54mm thick.
Where It Works Best
This is the traditional keyhole shaped escutcheon for a standard mortise lock, rather than the round cutout used for a euro cylinder, so check which lock type your door has before ordering. Suitable for interior doors only.
Made By Buster + Punch
Massimo Buster Minale founded Buster + Punch in 2013, moving from a career in architecture, including time at Foster and Partners, into a brand built on the same instincts he had developed customising motorbikes by night. Door hardware was one of the categories he tackled early on, down to details as small as a keyhole plate, made from solid spun metal rather than the thin stamped sheet most keyhole covers are cut from.
