Most lever handles are smooth from the day they're fitted to the day they're replaced. This pair cuts a deep, diamond set cross knurl into solid metal so your hand meets texture and grip instead, built to hold up in a hallway that gets used constantly rather than a showroom.
Choose Your Finish
Cross Knurl is the bolder of our two knurl patterns, a deeper crosshatch cut that reads as properly industrial rather than restrained, so it suits spaces that lean into that look. Black keeps things graphic and matte, Brass adds warmth and a bit of shine, Smoked Bronze sits somewhere darker and more aged, and Steel stays cool and neutral.
How It Works
This is a sprung lever handle set with a 57mm rose and 38mm fixing centres, fitted with a 22mm diameter bar for a substantial grip. It's built for a 57mm backset tubular latch or a compatible mortise lock, fixes through the door with bolt through fittings and 40mm screws, and suits doors up to around 54mm thick.
Where It Works Best
Built for interior doors only, hallways, bedrooms, living spaces, rather than an entrance exposed to weather. It hasn't been tested with split spindles, so a through bolt fixing is the recommended installation. If you'd rather a finer, more restrained ridge than this deeper cross cut, our Linear Knurl handle set uses the same fixings, rose size, and latch compatibility.
Made By Buster + Punch
Buster + Punch founder Massimo Buster Minale spent years as an architect at firms like Foster and Partners and Richard Rogers before starting the brand in 2013, and door hardware was one of the first categories he turned his attention to. The knurling itself is a nod to the machined grips and dials he'd have handled building motorbikes by night, brought over from the garage and cut into something you touch on your way through a room.
